The Pirnadello Project

Directed by Alice Reagan in 2022 at the Columbia Theatre Department. I played Mayor Agazzi and Luigi Pirandello.

Mayor Agazzi was a brutish, invasive man denoted by oversized pants and a baritone voice. Luigi Pirandello, young artist on the brink, needed her back. He didn’t take no for an answer.

This was a weird one. We devised a play about Luigi Pirandello, a fascist playwright from 1900s Italy. Though Six Characters in Search of an Author is his most famous work, we devised around his lesser-known and highly disturbing Right You Are—If You Think You Are.

It was in this show that my director gave me the best note I’ve ever received; “go easy on the eyeliner.”
